The Lanvernite Succession
Greatworth Reach is two nations in one: a coastal, seafaring, largely human society of fishers and whalers, and an inland, mostly gnomish society of woodworkers, clockmakers, arrowsmiths and other highly-trained craftsmen. The two societies have lived in peace and harmony for centuries, trading with each other vigorously and leaping to each other’s defense at any sign of external threat. The capital Greatworth City has a 50% mix of both races, living in integrated harmony among many ingenious architectural inventions made for a city with both six- and three-foot citizens.
Protected to the west by the Black Peaks, Greatworth Reach has for many years fostered a close, cooperative relationship with Warwickshire. Greatworth Reach has recently found itself at odds with Lanverness due to Bartleby Sax’s aggressive moves against Warwickshire. Although the situation has cooled from previous levels, tension remains elevated.
